Imagine a huge area filled with valuable stuff like gas, oil, and gold. This is Balochistan, a big part of Pakistan and some areas in Iran and Afghanistan. It’s really big but doesn’t have many people or much development.
Chapter 2: Why People are Upset
For many years, the people of Balochistan, called Baloch, have felt that the government takes their resources but doesn’t give them enough in return. They want more control over their land and its treasures. This has led to big fights, called insurgencies, with the latest one starting in 2002.
Chapter 3: Two Groups Fighting
In Balochistan, there are two main groups fighting. One group, the Baloch nationalists, fights for more rights and control over their land. The other group, the Islamist militants, has different reasons related to religion. This makes the situation very complicated.
Chapter 4: More Trouble with Sectarian Violence
There’s another problem in Balochistan. Some people, because of their religious beliefs, are attacking others from a different religious group. This adds to the trouble in the area and makes things worse.
Chapter 5: The People’s Struggles
The people living in Balochistan are having a tough time. They feel left out and that they’re not getting their fair share of the wealth from their land. Big projects are happening, but they’re not helping the people much. The local people want more development that actually improves their lives.
