Launched on August 9, the campaign serves as a tribute to the brave individuals who have sacrificed their lives for the country.

1. Unity in Diversity: The campaign powerfully symbolizes India’s unity in diversity by bringing together soil from all parts of the country.
2. Honoring Local Heroes: Over 2,33,000 plaques, called shilaphalakam, have been installed nationwide to honor local heroes.
3. Cultural Outreach: Various cultural programs are organized to deepen the public’s engagement with the campaign.
4. Public Participation: The campaign has involved the public on a large scale, with 2,00,000 felicitation programs and as many as 40 million selfies uploaded with pledges.
5. National Identity: It serves as a reminder of the shared heritage and the collective responsibility of citizens towards nation-building.
The campaign will conclude in a grand ceremony where a pitcher containing soil from all over the country will be placed at Kartavya Path in the national capital, further highlighting the message of unity and diversity.
