Ten Reasons for Chinese Aggression


At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed on the night of 15th June by the Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley in the disputed Ladakh region.There were reports of Chinese casualties, but no official confirmation. Military officials from both countries later met to "defuse the situation". The confrontation which is the worst since 1975, came after tensions built up in recent months over a new road India built in Ladakh, along the Line of Actual Control which divides the two sides. Dreamers in the USA


There are lakhs of young people in the USA who are illegally staying there. They were brought into the USA illegally by their parents, mostly from Mexico and Latin America but also from other countries like India. Indians account about 3,000 of such people. India and Australia Defense Agreement


India and Australia signed a landmark defense agreement in early June 2020 for reciprocal access to military bases for logistics support to further broad base and consolidate the security relationship. The pact is the outcome of the online summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison on 4th June. It is called the Mutual Logistics Support Agreement (MLSA). WTO , China and Market Economy


World Trade Organisation (WTO) members need to be market economies. China is a member of WTO but has the status of a non-market economy. China appealed to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) dispute settlement body in 2016 to force the European Union to recognize it as a market economy in trade investigations. It withdrew the appeal last week. China lost an interim ruling on the matter in 2019 after the WTO rejected China’s case that it is a market economy.
