Are defections in news again? In the run up to the Rajya Sabha elections late in June 2020, defections are taking place as a part of political rivalry. In March 2020, government in Madhya Pradesh fell due to defections.Earlier it happened in Karnataka, Goa and Manipur.It gives the impression that there is no need to contest election and post-election management is enough. Ten Reasons for Chinese Aggression


At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed on the night of 15th June by the Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley in the disputed Ladakh region.There were reports of Chinese casualties, but no official confirmation. Military officials from both countries later met to "defuse the situation". There are lakhs of young people in the USA who are illegally staying there. India and Australia Defense Agreement


India and Australia signed a landmark defense agreement in early June 2020 for reciprocal access to military bases for logistics support to further broad base and consolidate the security relationship. The pact is the outcome of the online summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison on 4th June.
