DAY NULM bagged SKOCH Governance Gold Award for the year 2019

Deendayal  Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM), a flagship mission under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs conferred the prestigious SKOCH Governance Gold Award for its Portal for Affordable Credit and Interest Subvention Access (PAiSA)in a function held at the Constitution Club of India.

PAiSA is a centralized IT platform which simplifies and streamlines release of interest subvention under the Mission. It offers end to end online solution for processing, payment, monitoring and tracking of interest subvention claims from banks on a monthly basis and has been designed and developed by Allahabad bank.

• It aims to uplift urban poor by enhancing sustainable livelihood opportunities through skill development.
• It provides for the development of vendor markets and also in the promotion of the skill set of these vendors through setting up infrastructure and special projects for rag pickers and the differently abled. 
• It provides loans to the urban poor, unemployed, differently abled at subsidized rates.
• It provides employment through training and skill development and also ensures placements.
• It fully funds cost of construction of shelters for the urban homeless.
